Now that I’m almost 21

I’m at that awkward stage where I tend to know a lot of people my PARENTS age hooking up with/hitting on people MY age.

Ew.

The mistake most parents often make

as their children get older is going from treating a child like a child to treating a child like an adult, as an equal.

My Zen instructor discusses with me in private sessions about how many people in your life treat you like a child.

Even Justin.

You can tell by the way they say ‘you should do this’ or ‘you need to do that to become this’ blah blah.

The thing you have to remember is you don’t have to do a damn thing.

Don’t listen to them. Listen to ‘yourself’.
